Your health and safety remain at the heart of everything we do. In the face of Covid-19, we have put in place the strictest health measures both on the ground and in flight to keep you protected at every step of your journey. Grouped under the label "Air France Protect", these measures are regularly adapted to evolutions in the health situation. To welcome you safely, all our teams on board are equipped with surgical masks and respect strict protective measures. Follow our recommendations below to prepare for your trip and travel safely.

AT THE AIRPORT
MANDATORY SURGICAL MASK
All passengers must wear a surgical mask on board our aircraft. Masks may also be required at the airport, depending on local health measures.
REMINDER OF PHYSICAL DISTANCING MEASURES
Special signage, announcements and floor markings remind you of the physical distancing measures.
COUNTERS AND KIOSKS
Our check-in counters are equipped with Plexiglas protective screens. They are disinfected regularly, as are our self-service kiosks.
LOUNGES
Our catering offer and lounge services have been adapted. Some lounges are closed due to public health regulations in force around the world.
HAND SANITIZER DISPENSERS
Hand sanitizer dispensers are at your disposal.
CONTACTLESS BODY TEMPERATURE CHECKS
Body temperature measurement may be implemented at the departure of some Air France flights.
ON BOARD
MANDATORY SURGICAL MASK
- Wearing a surgical mask is mandatory on board our aircraft.
- When paired with our air recycling system, a surgical mask protects you even when physical distancing is not possible on board.
CABIN AIR RENEWED EVERY 3 MINUTES
- Our aircraft are equipped with an air recycling system consisting of HEPA «High Efficiency Particulate Air» filters identical to those used in operating theatres, which trap 99.9% of particles.
- The air in the cabin is therefore renewed every 3 minutes.
DAILY CLEANING AND REGULAR DISINFECTION
- Vacuuming of carpets and all seats, as well as head covers
- Cleaning and disinfection of all contact surfaces: trays, armrests, seat belts, entertainment screens, remote controls, overhead baggage racks, windows, door handles, etc.
SANITARY KIT
On our long-haul flights, you will receive a personal sanitary kit. It includes a disinfectant wipe, a surgical mask and hand sanitizer. On all other flights, a disinfectant wipe is at your disposal as soon as you arrive on board.
AIR FILTRATION IN CABINS
Our aircraft are equipped with an air filtration system consisting of High Efficiency Particulate Air (HEPA) filters identical to those used in hospital operating rooms. Cabin air is thus completely refreshed every 3 minutes. These filters eliminate more than 99.97% of bacteria and viruses, ensuring an excellent air quality in our cabins which fully complies with health standards.
